KGH is since September 2020 a part of the Maersk family which is an integrated container logistics company working to connect and simplify its customer's supply chains. As the global leader in shipping services, the company operates in 130 countries and employs roughly 70,000 people.
Right now, we are looking for a Content Manager to our headquarter in Gothenburg who can contribute and take responsibility for KGH taking the next steps in the content communication.
In this role, you will lead and be responsible for the KGH content generation to ensure efficiency in execution and that all content is engaging, effective and holds a high standard. You oversee the KGH content calendar to ensure momentum and interest in the KGH presence in own, paid and earned media. It will also be your job to create, in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, highly engaging content, adapted to the buying journeys of KGH target audiences and the various media KGH use. To be successful, you will need to have integrity when it comes to communication decisions, but at the same time be open to input from other stakeholders.
To develop and manage the yearly marketing plans for two of KGH business areas will also be your responsibility. You will contribute to developing appropriate KPI’s and goals, closely measure and analyse realized activities, and suggest actions for how to optimize results as well as use of resources.
As we are a part of Maersk, you will work closely with Maersk European marketing organization in joint projects.
Overall, we expect you to monitor the development in your fields of expertise and turn those insights into advice for how KGH can further enhance our ways of working. Therefore, curiosity is a great asset! In this role, you will report to the Marketing Director of KGH Customs Services, and be part of the Global Sales and Marketing team.
Who are you?
University degree or similar in marketing/communication with 2-4 years of experience from a similar position, ready to build on these in a company at the forefront of inbound marketing.
You need to preferably have experience from international B2B marketing, being used to complex buying journeys involving several stakeholders.
Expertise in SEO, digital media and from using suitable digital tools (e.g. marketing automation, CMS, SEO analysis tools) in developing decided marketing efforts.
We want you to have experience as a writer and content generator including a good understanding of visual media, with a proven track record of developing highly relevant content that drives engagement, conversion and loyalty. Data-driven, used to utilize customer insights and other relevant data to optimize outcome.
Project management skills, being used to running your own projects from planning to follow-up is important. Analytical skills and a good knowledge in goal definition as well as measuring the effect of implemented activities, including using appropriate digital tools should be a natural part of your work. Fluent in English.
You have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate and interact at all organisational levels with a focus on collaboration and involvement. You have team engagement and support as your priority, and with the ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
