The role

Nordic Choice Hotels is undergoing an overhaul of its brand portfolio, transforming from hotels to hospitality, where the group's total offerings come alive in a seamless customer experience. As Vice President of Marketing & Digital Sales, you will be crucial in driving the change through your experience and advisory skills as well as leading, coaching and developing the marketing & digital sales team. 

As Vice President of Marketing & Digital Sales, you will:

  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy and execute a sophisticated marketing plan, while effectively managing brand perception, to ensure the internal and external brand is optimally aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives
  • Create and implement  innovative multi-channel acquisition strategies & campaigns via strong collaboration with product, sales, and technical teams.
  • Manage, coach and develop the teams within Digital Sales, Content Marketing, Operational Marketing  and Newsletter.
  • Lead paid and owned media strategies across search, social, display and related digital platforms
  • Ensure resources and investments at all times are aligned with overall company strategy and direction 
  • Promote, challenge and educate the wider organization on opportunities and novel initiatives to maximize accelerated strong growth in direct web & app properties

What we expect that you bring to the party:

  • +10 years experience managing brand strategies with significant experience connecting those strategies to business results. 
  • +10 years of proven experience leading marketing with a commercially-oriented mindset in line-management or group function for a leading brand within luxury/fashion/retail/hospitality or consumer goods.
  • Advanced subject matter knowledge and experience driving the digital sales agenda.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and great at building and maintaining relationships, fostering an environment of mutual respect, understanding, and trust.
  • Persuasive and collaborative skills - able to work across multiple stakeholders and influence drive brand-right implementation. 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - willingness to challenge the status quo in our highly disrupted business environment and move quickly to test and learn new strategies and tactics. 
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree from accredited university required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications or other related field
  • Fluency in English and Swedish or Norwegian is a prerequisite.

As VP Marketing & Digital Sales you are a member of eBerrys leadership team and report to the CEO of eBerry, Carl Oldsberg. Nordic Choice Hotels practice hybrid work and the position is located in Stockholm or Oslo.
