Are you the copywriter we are looking for? If you are, we believe that you aim for and are capable of delivering texts to admire and make us ask, how did you come up with this? And you make this happen over and over again, to more than meet our standards, adding to our legacy, stemming all the way back to the year of 1852.
We are looking for a copywriter to write texts far beyond any ordinary words. We also want you to be proud of yourself the very moment you start working with us, taking a natural step in your career.
You will work in depth with Hästens communication in a number of different projects requiring attention to a great many details, sharing our vision as the solid foundation.
Major projects include i e Hästens catalog, distributed in many languages worldwide and our Price List distributed in different currency versions around the world as well. In the catalog project, besides developing the Hästen’s lexicon, you interview and document source references to build a foundational document working as the single source of truth. Based on this you will write the catalog aiming to give it the right character to solve everything when it comes to major parts of our communication. Approved catalog-texts work as the storytelling content for Hästens website as well as our ads. Many semantic and storytelling challenges are taken care of within the catalog project, with limited demand for formatting to other channels.
Key priorities are:
- Hästens catalog, website and price list.
- Developing Hästens Lexicon.
- Transcending our mastery and continually raising our standards.
Additional responsibilities include formatting texts to Website, Care Instructions, Brochures, Advertisements (Digital and Print), In-Store Communication, Video Content for Digital Screens using Apple TV, Social Media posts, Assets for Campaign Books.
Experience and other requirements
We expect you to have a relevant academic degree within the field of English Writing or the equivalent. At least five to six years of relevant practical experience in direct response is needed, both short form and long form. We also want to see a portfolio that makes it evident that you are a highly skilled producer.

- Our base is in Köping, with you being present as a true member of our group, ideally physically in our office most of the time, contributing to a raised awareness for all of us.
- Superb communication skills in English and Swedish; written and spoken.
- Setting targets/goals in your OKR’s to challenge you, an opportunity for you to grow and become better. You choose ideas to create the highest value for Hästens and make them happen and then move on to the next chapter at work, having the do-both and succeed-with-both attitude.
- You are up for working in a functional / matrix organization in a fast-growing company that wants to be there for our customers every time someone considers and is able to buy a Hästens bed.
- As our copywriter you are responsible for being resourceful, delivering your work in time, constantly improving work processes and flows, to be smarter and faster.
- You communicate in a natural and efficient way with coworkers and managers whether something is going to slow, you lack response or are stuck, but aiming to bring your solution so that actions can be taken to un-stuck that thing or person and speeding things up, whether that is in the Marketing Department or another Department.
- Momentum is key when you read and reflect on the Hästens Blue-check values and use them in your way, adding to the storytelling journey of our company and having fun at the same time.
