Job Responsibilities
For our client, we are seeking a Business Controller to join their team. The position includes a variety of ongoing responsibilities within Finance and Controlling, such as:
Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Supporting decision-making through financial analysis, business cases, and scenario assessments
KPI follow-up, reporting, and presentations
Contributing to the development of future Controlling processes, methods, and tools across R&D
You will report to the Head of R&D Controlling and serve as a trusted Business Partner to R&D leaders, contributing to strategic decision-making, financial steering, and business performance as an active member of management teams.
You will work across networks and leadership teams and maintain regular contact with R&D and other Controlling functions.
Who You Are
To be successful in this role, you have:
Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
At least 3–5 years of experience in Business Controlling
An interest in electrification, battery technologies
Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and drive business performance in a structured and analytical way
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and management teams in a complex and international environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decisions across both finance and operational functions
Excellent analytical and digital capabilities, including advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP is considered a strong advantage
High integrity, curiosity, and an interest in understanding products, technology, operations, and the key business drivers behind successful R&D organizations
A collaborative mindset and the ability to create value through teamwork, networking, and cross-functional cooperation
Professional fluency in English is required; fluency in Swedish is beneficial
