Our client is an international B2B professional service company with Nordic roots, 4,000 employees in six countries, and an ambitious growth agenda. Today, they are entering a pivotal strategic phase: uniting multiple established companies under one shared brand identity while also repositioning themselves for the future.

To make this happen, we are looking for an experienced Interim Brand Transformation Lead – someone who has successfully driven international branding programs and thrives on turning strategy into execution.

Your Mission

  • Lead a complex brand transformation journey: bring together several companies and markets into one unified brand.
  • Lead and project manage the international brand roll-out: plan, coordinate, and execute the rebranding across six countries – ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders stay aligned.
  • Create and lead a temporary project organization: Set up and lead a cross-country project organization: bring together the right competences from local marketing teams and external specialists, ensuring all markets are supported and the roll-out is executed with speed and precision.
  • Redefine the brand story and positioning: sharpen purpose, narrative, and messaging to support the new strategic direction.
  • Develop an updated cross-group messaging platform: ensure that brand, guidelines, and communication frameworks are aligned across all countries – while local marketing remains close to customers and business.
  • Establish governance and structure for Group Marketing: define and implement clear frameworks that separate group marketing ownership (brand platform, over all messaging, martech stack, global communications) from local marketing execution (campaigns, lead generation, customer-facing activities).
  • Ensure group-wide consistency while empowering local markets to drive business impact
  • Align and deliver: work closely with Group Management Team, external brand agency, country marketing managers, and local marketing specialists – each equally crucial to success.
  • Be hands-on where needed: from messaging drafts to implementation workshops – keeping momentum high and execution sharp.

Profile

  • Solid experience working within B2B marketing and brand management, ideally in an international context.
  • Proven ability to project manage complex, multi-country brand roll-outs, keeping multiple stakeholders aligned and deliverables on track.
  • Proven track record of leading rebrandings or brand repositionings, with hands-on involvement from strategy to execution.
  • Strong background in brand strategy, positioning, identity development, and messaging platforms.
  • Skilled in building governance models and cross-group frameworks for marketing and communication.
  • Excellent project leadership, with the ability to set up and run a cross-country project organization.
  • Naturally uses AI-based tools (for content creation, insights, productivity, and project management) as part of the daily workflow, and is open to exploring new AI-driven solutions.
  • Able to balance strategic vision with hands-on delivery.
  • International mindset – comfortable with frequent travel across six countries.
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and able to engage with everyone from C-level executives to local experts.

Why this role?

This is a hands-on leadership assignment at the heart of one of the most exciting brand journeys in Northern Europe right now. You’ll not only drive a high-impact international transformation but also create the structures for how Group Marketing will operate going forward – leaving behind both a new identity and a governance framework that enables local marketing teams to thrive within a shared brand. This is not only a strategic brand assignment – it is also a hands-on international project leadership role, where your ability to coordinate, prioritize, and deliver will define success.
