For our client, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager – PLM Business Transformation.
In this role, you will support the PLM Business Transformation program across planning, cross-functional coordination, financial control, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and governance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate project activities, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies
Monitor scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and deliverables
Prepare status reports, financial forecasts, gate documentation, and decision requests
Align and facilitate collaboration across business units, IT, enterprise architecture, and external suppliers
Support testing, deployment, operational handover, and action item follow-up
Required Qualifications
Proven track record in project management for complex, cross-functional transformation programs (ideally within PLM or digital engineering)
Strong background in project planning, financial management, risk mitigation, and program governance
Demonstrated ability to manage relationships across business, IT, architecture, and external vendors
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skills
Meritorious / Nice-to-Have
Direct domain experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), digital engineering, or enterprise-scale systems
Relevant university degree or equivalent practical experience
Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum)
Key Improvements Made
Spelling & Terminology: Changed the non-standard English word “Meriterious” (a direct loan translation from Swedish meriterande) to standard industry terms like Meritorious or Nice-to-Have.
Redundancy Reduction: The original draft repeated PLM/digital engineering experience under both "Required skills" and "Meriterious." This was streamlined so the baseline requirement is general transformation delivery, while deep PLM domain expertise serves as the differentiator.
Tone & Phrasing: Replaced repetitive verbs with active, professional business terminology (e.g., budget instead of cost, vendor/supplier alignment instead of repeated coordinate, gate documentation instead of gate material).
