Senior Project Manager – SAP Finance & S/4HANA Transformation (Interim)
For our client in Stockholm, we are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Senior Project Manager to co-lead a major Finance transformation and SAP S/4HANA implementation.
Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Business Lead to drive the planning, delivery, and execution of the transformation. You will act as the bridge between Finance technology, product teams, and dependent business streams.
Your main responsibilities:
Co-lead Planning & Delivery: Drive the Finance transformation alongside the Finance Business Lead, ensuring alignment between business goals and IT delivery.
Workstream Coordination: Coordinate tasks and dependencies across Finance technology, product teams, and external workstreams.
Governance & Delivery: Manage detailed project plans, resource allocation, risks, issues, dependencies, and decision preparations.
Progress & Ownership: Follow up on progress and foster clear ownership and transparency across all workstreams.
Facilitation: Actively participate in and lead key workshops, reviews, and strategic decision forums.
Required Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for a senior leader who thrives in complex enterprise environments and excels at bridging the gap between Finance and IT.
SAP & Finance Expertise: Solid understanding of SAP Finance and hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformations.
Project & Programme Management: Strong track record in managing complex project plans, governance models, cross-functional dependencies, and risk mitigation.
Business & IT Alignment: Proven ability to connect Finance business needs with technology and product solutions.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Experienced in co-leading with senior business leaders, steering teams, and influencing stakeholders without direct staff authority.
Enterprise Background: Experience from large organizations, multi-stream setups, and cross-functional change management is highly beneficial.
Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Role Details
Location: Stockholm (Onsite 4 days/week, 1 day remote)
Assignment Period: November 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027
